Leswalt Parish Church is Church of Scotland by denomination and situated in the village and Parish of Leswalt in Wigtownshire, south-west Scotland. The Church has a friendly and active congregation numbering just over 260 at present, with just under half of those living in the parish and the remainder living in nearby Stranraer or beyond.

We are delighted to report that we are no longer looking for a minister. Rev Clare Burl, our very popular locum, has agreed to stay with us for five years under a 'guardianship' arrangement with Presbytery. Alleluia!

Our Mission Statement

  • To fulfil the words of the hymn “Let us build a house where love can dwell”
  • To be a church where all are welcome to share Christian friendship, know the love of Jesus and grow in faith through worship and prayer.

We aim to achieve this through regular worship, providing a strong Christian voice within our parishes, reaching out to share this with all sections of the community and using our time, talents and resources effectively.
